cozy rainbow winter

Hello!

I have my second card for the Cozy Winter Themed Inky Paws Challenge today. Link a card up to the challenge here by Friday night for a chance to win a $20 store credit to the Newton's Nook Designs online store :)

I went kind of simple for this card. I stamped my snowman from the Frozen Friends stamp set, with a little bit of masking, and colored them with some fun rainbow colors. I fussy cut around the top and layered it over a background that I stenciled with the Snowfall stencil. I added a sentiment on the bottom and it was done!

This will be my last Inky Paws Challenge post. I came down with Covid over Christmas break and i'm still struggling with it and trying to juggle that with virtual learning for my daughter is about all I can deal with right now. I'll still be working on cards and my huge backlog of project life but I just couldn't handle anything with a set schedule at the moment!

First Inky Paws Challenge of 2021!

Hello and happy shiny new year :)

Today is the start of a new Inky Paws Challenge and the theme this time is cozy winter. It's still too early to hope for snow here in Suffolk, Virginia so I'm living out my snowy dreams with this shaker card!

Link up a card to the challenge here in the next two weeks for a chance to win a $20 store credit to the Newton's Nook Designs online store!

I used the A Cozy Day In stamp set for this card. I made my background with a shiplap die (random funny: I ordered my Christmas presents for my husband and when I was showing him what he "bought for me" I showed him this shiplap die and he asked "what the heck is shiplap?" How on earth have we been married for over 11 years and he's never watched hgtv or fixer upper with me?!) and I used some patterned paper for the floor. I used a window die cut for the shaker part of my card and backed it with some clear cardstock. I inked up my card base and added some trees from the Forest Scene Builder die set before splattering it with white paint. I put down all of my foam adhesive and then added some fake snow and Distress Rock Candy Glitter.
