I was supposed to be on vacation for Spring Break this week at the beach so I went with a tropical themed card complete with a sandy little beach!
I embossed my Kraft background with Texture Paste and then inked it up in some gorgeous shades of green Distress Oxide. I splattered it with a little white paint and then put it aside to work on the rest of the card. I stamped, colored and fussy cut out my image and glued it down to a die cut vellum circle. I added the sentiment with Versafine and clear embossing powder. To finish my little beach off I covered the bottom of my die cut circle with translucent embossing paste and then sprinkled and pressed some real sand in the paste and set that aside to dry!
