Inky Paws Challenge 121 spinning kitty

Hi!

There's one more week left on our birthday themed Inky Paws Challenge! Link up a card for the challenge here for a chance to win a $20 store credit to the Newton's Nook Designs online store ☺

I have a spinning kitty hanging onto a balloon on today's card with some rainbow foiled confetti in the sky ♥

I started off by stenciling my sky with the Clouds Stencil and some Distress Oxide. I added the Confetti stencil with the Decofoil Transfer Paste and then foiled it with Rainbow foil when it was dry. I cut a circle out of the stenciled panel and a card base for the kitty to spin in. I used a mirror stamp to make a mirror image of the kitty from the Birthday Bash stamp set and colored and fussy cut them both out. I adhered them on a piece of string inside the die cut circles and added a sentiment banner from the Frames and Flag die set to finish it off!

I hope you have a fantastic week ☺

I was supposed to be on vacation for Spring Break this week at the beach so I went with a tropical themed card complete with a sandy little beach!

I embossed my Kraft background with Texture Paste and then inked it up in some gorgeous shades of green Distress Oxide. I splattered it with a little white paint and then put it aside to work on the rest of the card. I stamped, colored and fussy cut out my image and glued it down to a die cut vellum circle. I added the sentiment with Versafine and clear embossing powder. To finish my little beach off I covered the bottom of my die cut circle with translucent embossing paste and then sprinkled and pressed some real sand in the paste and set that aside to dry!

Inspired?

Hi!

It's time for a new Inky Paws Challenge and we have a birthday themed challenge up on deck this week!

I made a fun rainbow foiled clear card with the Paw-Some Birthday stamp set and the Balloons stencil.

I stenciled the balloons with a decofoil transfer gel and then foiled them with some rainbow foil and my minc machine when it was dry. Rainbow foil makes me happy ☺
