inky paws 120 Easter Blessings

Hello and Happy Easter this week!

You have until Friday night to link up a card to the current Inky Paws Challenge sketch.

I went for a crisp white Easter card using the Tropical Leaves stencil as a pretty palm leaves background. I used the Easter Lily stamp for the image on a fussy cut circle over a piece of vellum i sewed to the background.

I hope you're all healthy and hanging in there. Be well ♥

inky paws challenge 120 hello spring!

Hello!

I hope you're all doing well, staying healthy (and at home if you're able!), and maybe finding some time to be crafty!

We have a new Inky Paws Sketch Challenge starting today. It runs for two weeks so link a card up to the challenge for a chance to win a $20 store credit to the Newton's Nook Designs online store

I used the super cute Woodland Spring stamp set for this card, all colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. I put them on a die cut scalloped circle that I did some ink blending and stenciling on with the Clouds Stencil and added a strip of grass die cut with the Land Borders die set. I stenciled the Floral Lace stencil on a card base for a little bit of texture and then did some stitching over that with my sewing machine.

I have a huge stack of cards to mail out this week to friends and family to hopefully help brighten up their days ♥

inky paws challenge 119 part 2

hi!

I've got a reminder post for Inky Paws Challenge 119 today. The challenge colors are pastel pink, pale yellow, baby blue, and light lavender and the challenge ends this Friday night!

I used the adorable new Newton's Rain Boots stamp set and the Petite Flowers Stencil for this card.

I stenciled the background with Ranger Texture Paste and then colored the flowers with Copic markers when it was dry. I stamped my images with memento black ink on neenah solar white cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers too. I fussy cut it all out and glued it down on a vellum die cut circle. I stitched the bottom and right sides of the circle onto my background panel and then adhered it all to a card base!

Hope you're staying, healthy, sane, and finding some time to craft during these crazy times ♥

I used the Clouds stencil to make my sky background before gluing everything down and adding my enamel dot rainbow!

ipc 116 moo-velous

Good morning!

We have a brand new Inky Paws Challenge for you this morning to start off this bright and shiny new week and February! (I wasn't sure January was ever going to end!)

The color challenge is teal, green, white, and red. Link a card up to the challenge in the next two weeks for a chance to win a $20 store credit to the Newton's Nook Designs online store

I used the adorable Newton's Nook Moo stamp set for my images and put them on a background sky with a few puffy clouds from the Newton's Nook Cloudy Sky stencil. ( I masked off a few clouds because I only wanted a couple of them, not the whole background) I used the Frames and Flag die set to cut the stitched scalloped rectangle and the Land Borders dies for the grassy hills. And i didn't realize that my barn is a little crooked (and irrevocably glued on with glossy accents) until I was editing the picture 😳

Have a fantastic week!

ipc 115 just my type

Happy Monday!

We have a new Inky Paws Challenge starting this morning! This challenge is a heart theme and I'm starting off this challenge with a long love letter using the sweet little My Type stamp set.

As usual, link a card up to the challenge in the next two weeks for a chance to win a $20 store credit to the Newton's Nook Designs online store. (the sneak peeks for the new release look amazing!)

I stamped out the love letter on a long strip of cardstock and then glued it to the type writer. I glued the type writer down on some patterned paper and a doily and then glued down the rolls of the letter. It's too dimensional to mail in a regular envelope but sometimes it's fun to think outside the envelope!
