inky paws challenge 88

hi!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas (or whatever you celebrate!) and Happy New Year's Eve!

We have a brand new color challenge today for an Inky Paws Challenge! It's a fun wintery combo of red, light blue, white, and black. I decided to work with the snowman from the picture and of course use the plaid stencil set again :)

I stenciled the red part of the plaid with Candy Apple Distress Ink and Oxide and then I used the Texture paste for the white part and I just love how you can still see the red underneath the texture paste!

I stamped my snowmen (with some masking) on Neenah solar white cardstock and colored them with Copics (It's so hard to color snow but I think I'm getting better!) I fussy cut around the top of the snowmen and added the sentiment underneath them. I finished the snowmen panel off with some baker's twine and then assembled all of the card pieces with some foam tape under the snowmen!

As always, come and join us for this challenge and link up a card for a chance to win a $20 store credit to the Newton's Nook Designs online store!

Have a fantastic New Year! (be safe tonight!)
