Hippity Hoppity Fun!

I'm super excited to share this card, it's my first box card and it turned out exactly how I had pictured it! I used Lawn Fawn dies and the adorable bunny and basket from Your Next Stamp's Sprinkles Egg-stra Awesome stamp set. I'm linking this card up for Your Next Stamp's Sketch and Color Challenge #60 (for the color challenge - not the sketch) which is awesome because it was just a happy accident - I forgot to even look at the color challenge until after the card was done!

This actually came together fairly easily since the dies are so easy to use! I started off my stamping all of my images on Neenah cardstock with Memento ink and coloring them with Copic markers and fussy cutting them all out. Next I die cut my box, the three inside layers, and some strips for my grass from Papertrey Ink Green Parakeet cardstock. I used an ink blending brush to brush some Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink on the bottom of all of the pieces and then die cut the grass strips using Grassy Hillside Borders dies. I die cut the back piece of the box from Summer Splash cardstock and die cut a few clouds for it out of Neenah cardstock using My Favorite Things puffy clouds dies. I had one more piece left to prep: the sentiment! I die cut the stitched rectangle from the box card die set (this set seriously comes with everything!) and stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder. After that I just had to assemble and glue everything together!

hello? tap tap tap... is this thing on?

I'm still here. It always takes me awhile to hit my creative groove after a vacation (Especially when I have the post Disney blues) and then this weekend we remodeled the studio with new paint, a new desk, three new drawer units, and a ton of new shelves that then had to be arranged, (and having to move my huge expedit shelves was not. fun.) it looks amazing! I'm hoping to back with a regular post on Tuesday but right now I'm going to try and shoot for more than the 3 hours of sleep I've been averaging the past few days zZzZzZ bye! ☺

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

I have a very green card to share today for Saint Patrick's Day!

Super simple, I stamped the Botanic Hello stamp on Neenah cardstock in Memento ink and then colored it in with about 20 different shades of green copic markers. I die cut the scalloped border from the bottom and then added it to a jellybean green card front with foam adhesive. I finished it ff with some Wink of Stella shimmer on the letters and white Nuvo Crystal Drops in the flower centers.

oh boy am i tired. allergy season has found Bree so now my girls ag team all night long to keep me from sleeping. super fun!

Anyways, aside from being sleepy I seem to have busted out of the funk I got stuck in at the end of my vacation so I should be back to more regular posting next week, have a great weekend!

more macarons!

hi! I'm home from Disney now and I'm excited to get back to work in my studio!

Here's a quick Stamping Bella Birthday card ☺

Super simple, I stamped the image in Memento ink and die cut the card front with a circle die. I colored everything with Copics and then added the sentiment in Hero Arts black ink!
