Hippity Hoppity Fun!

Hello!

I'm super excited to share this card, it's my first box card and it turned out exactly how I had pictured it! I used Lawn Fawn dies and the adorable bunny and basket from Your Next Stamp's Sprinkles Egg-stra Awesome stamp set. I'm linking this card up for Your Next Stamp's Sketch and Color Challenge #60 (for the color challenge - not the sketch) which is awesome because it was just a happy accident - I forgot to even look at the color challenge until after the card was done!

This actually came together fairly easily since the dies are so easy to use! I started off my stamping all of my images on Neenah cardstock with Memento ink and coloring them with Copic markers and fussy cutting them all out. Next I die cut my box, the three inside layers, and some strips for my grass from Papertrey Ink Green Parakeet cardstock. I used an ink blending brush to brush some Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink on the bottom of all of the pieces and then die cut the grass strips using Grassy Hillside Borders dies. I die cut the back piece of the box from Summer Splash cardstock and die cut a few clouds for it out of Neenah cardstock using My Favorite Things puffy clouds dies. I had one more piece left to prep: the sentiment! I die cut the stitched rectangle from the box card die set (this set seriously comes with everything!) and stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder. After that I just had to assemble and glue everything together!

    1. Thanks! I've got some basic instructions in the blog post but if you're looking for details on how to assemble the box card I'd suggest searching "Lawn Fawn box card" on YouTube. I found a bunch of super helpful videos there!
