I've got a sweet little twirling ballerina today for the My Favorite Things Color Challenge #63.
I started out by stamping my ballerina on Neenah cardstock with My Favorite Things Black Hybrid ink, once regularly, and once using the mirror image stamp. I colored them with Copic markers and die cut them out. I die cut my circle window out of a spearmint card base and a white card front and then stamped my floral frame and sentiment in Gravel Gray Hybrid ink. I colored all of my flowers with Copic markers and then added some Nuvo Crystal Drops to the centers of the flowers (I just got my first few colors of the Nuvo drops yesterday and I'm loving them!) I die cut the brick wall out of a scrap piece of cardstock and used it as a stencil to do some ink blending on the inside of the card with Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink. I sandwiched some thread between the two ballerinas and adhered them back to back and then glued that down to the card base and then added the white frame piece to the card. I finished it off with some more Nuvo drops on the ballerina's flowers and some Wink of Stella shimmer on her wings.
I loved this color combination and I can't get enough of that adorable little ballerina and how well she spins!
Have a great day!
