I've got a card for this week's Make it Monday challenge. The challenge this week is to make a spinner card.
I kept this one pretty clean and simple. I die cut the hexagons out of my white cardstock and then die cut one out of the pink card base in the same spot as my bottom right hexagon to make the spinner window. I did a little bit of stamping on the die cut white piece, stamping my sentiment in black ink and the distressed dot pattern in Versamark and embossing them with gold embossing powder. I taped down string in between the window and adhered the white piece to the pink card base. I die cut the little honey bee twice and stamped the die cut before adhering it back to back on either side of the string to be my spinner. I die cut some hexagons out of Bright Buttercup, Raspberry Fizz, and a gold foil cardstock to add to all of the die cut spots on my card front, popping up a couple of them with foam tape. I finished the whole thing off with some baker's twine.
(sorry if none of that made sense, I had a crazy bad day with a migraine to top everything off and this description seems super jumbled to me so I can't quite tell how it will come across to someone else reading it!)
The girls and I survived the zoo, Bree's favorite part was trying out every bench ☺
Anyways, I'll be back tomorrow with a fun slider pop-up card to finish off the week! Have a great day!
