We got quite a bit (by Coastal Virginia standards) of snow dumped on us this weekend so after being cooped up inside with the girls for a few days, I'm definitely dreaming of warmer summer days :)
This card was a little cuter in my head but I just couldn't quite translate it to paper right. oh well. win some lose some. Everything it stamped with Memento black ink (except for the sentiment that's stamped in Hero Arts black ink) on Neenah Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. I masked everything off with masking paper to do some ink blending with Distress inks. (I'm loving the light blending of shaded lilac with tumbled glass for the snowy sky background!) I die cut the thought bubble with a Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle die and free handed the little thought bubbles leading up to it. I adhered everything to a white card base and added some snow dots with a white gel pen and some shimmer to the sunshine with a wink of stella pen to finish it off.
Jeff's classes on Saturday and today were canceled due to the snow and he has today off of work too so we've just been hunkered down in our jammies all weekend. We watched a few movies (The Magnificent Seven and Independence Day: Resurgence) on our to rent list, neither one of them were really winners so I'm glad we didn't pay to see them in theaters!
I'll be back tomorrow with another fun Stamping Bella birthday card!
