Hi!
I've got a fun Little Mermaid shaker card today! (you know I had to color that Mermaid to look like Ariel at least once right?!)
I started out by die cutting the outline of the snowglobe from Bristol paper and stamping the mermaid in Versafine ink. While that dried I die cut the outline once out of clear cardstock and once more out of white cardstock. I colored her and her background with Zig Clean Color Watercolor pens and added some shimmer to her tail with a Wink of Stella shimmer pen. I die cut the Snowglobe frame out of foam twice and once out of Kraft Paper. I adhered the two layers of the foam frame together and glued that on top of the painted mermaid. I filled the inside of the snowglobe with some sand, tiny sea shells, some sequins and iridescent heart sequins. I adhered the clear snowglobe frame on top of the filled mermaid and foam piece. I stamped the sentiment on the Kraft snowglobe frame in Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. I glued that down to the snowglobe and finished the front off with some twine. I scored the top of the last snowglobe outline piece and adhered the top scored piece to the back of the snowglobe to construct the card!
