a Birthday Bella

Today's card has some fun Copic coloring on it and not that much else, I struggle with my Stamping Bella girls because once they're stamped and colored I think they're so pretty that I don't ever want to put anything else on the card with them!

I used the Mama Elephant Basic Set of dies for this card, I die cut the rectangle scallop out of Neenah Solar White cardstock and then did my stamping in My Favorite Things Hybrid Black Ink. I colored in my Bella and then used the Basic Set again to die cut the bow out of Raspberry Fizz cardstock. I adhered all of that to a piece of Summer Splash cardstock and then glued everything down to a white card base. Super simple!

We had our last Christmas celebration (and my birthday!) of the season yesterday. My dad and step mom came down from Maryland and we exchanged presents, played with the girls, and went out to dinner. It was lovely and I got some cardmaking supplies! I got another ream of Solar White Neenah cardstock, (just in time, I only had 4 sheets left from my last ream!) a big roll of foam tape, some Lawn Fawn dies, and the mack-daddy 150 set of Prismacolor Colored Pencils!
Jeff had to go back to work today so I'm on my own with the girls again but at least his classes don't start until Saturday. (then the real adventure of the next few months begins!)

I'll be back tomorrow with my Christmas card! (I know it's January now, but I never shared it and it's pretty!)
