2016 Christmas Card

Hi!

I've got my Christmas cards to share today. (I did actually get them mailed out in the middle of December, they aren't super late!)

Thanks to Jeff's photo splicing abilities, we're all even looking at the camera!

I started off by stamping my background stamp in versamark on Kraft cardstock and embossing it with white embossing powder. (30 times!)  Next I stamped and embossed the sentiment on Electric Red Cardstock and cut it out with the matching die. I adhered the picture to the background piece and painted all of the berries and flowers with red watercolors. I die cut the bow from electric red cardstock and added that on the bottom under the picture. Once that was done I adhered all of the background/picture pieces on red card bases and then glued down the sentiment on top of the picture. The inside of the card has a sentiment white embossed on Kraft cardstock that says Merry Christmas from our family to yours. It took me about 3 nights and almost a whole jar of embossing powder to make these after the girls went to sleep!

I've got such a fun card to share tomorrow using the August My Monthly Hero Kit (one of my birthday presents)! I love those fairies and can't wait to use them some more!
Have a great day!
