Tiny Happy Home

Hello!

I started off by die cutting the house and fence out of white cardstock and stamping the house in Mint Julep, Lovely Lady, and Manatee ink. I cut down a piece of Stormy Sea cardstock and stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. I stamped the cobblestone path in white pigment ink and then glued down the house and fences. I added my flowersoft with some multi-medium matte to make the pretty tiny bushes. I die cut the borders from white cardstock and adhered them and then gray piece down to a Mint Julep cardbase to finish it off!

My dad flies in from New Orleans today! I haven't seen him since Christmas so I'm super excited! He'll be here for two weeks so he can spend time with Bree, soak up some new baby snuggles, and be here for Bree's birthday party! My tiny house will be overflowing with people and lots of happy!

Have a lovely day!

A Purrfect Friend

Hello!

I am definitely not a cat person, I don't mind petting them at other people's houses but I do not want one at mine. (although even though I love dogs, I don't want another dog until my kids are old enough to beg for one, and even then I'm not looking forward to it, Jeff and I kind of love not having to be responsible for a pet...)
Hopefully my mom has a cat loving friend that she can give this card to!

I started this card with a piece of Neenah cardstock cut to 4 1/4" wide and stamped my cat and sentiment on it with black My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink. I colored the cat with Copics and fussy cut the top of the cat out and trimmed the rest of the panel just above the sentiment. The cat looked pretty spoiled so I decided it needed some rhinestones on it's collar. :) I stamped the fish in a repeating pattern on a piece of spearmint cardstock, cut to 4 x 5 1/4" and added some shimmer with my Wink of Stella pen and then covered the fish in glossy accents. I glued the Spearmint piece down to a Razzle Berry card base. Next I wrapped some baker's twine around the white piece under the sentiment and cat and adhered that down with foam adhesive to finish it off!

Have a fantastic day!

Watercolor Succulents

Hello!

Watercoloring is for sure not my strong suit, but hopefully practice will make it better eventually!

I did a watercolor background on Ranger Watercolor paper with my Distress Inks and then splattered some more of the ink on top using an acrylic block and a paintbrush. After my background was completely dry I stamped the sentiment in black Versafine ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I stamped the succulents and pots on some watercolor paper, masking them off so the pot in the center would be in the front, and then watercolored them with my Zig Clean Color pens and cut them out. I added the white dots on the center cactus with my Uniball Signo pen and then adhered them to the colored background with foam tape. I mounted that on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of black cardstock and then attached that to a white card base to finish it off!

Happy Monday!

S'mores!

Hello!

I started out this card by making the night sky background on Arches cold pressed water color paper with my Distress Inks, you can watch how below!

Next I stamped all of the images on Neenah cardstock with My Favorite Things Black Hybrid ink and colored them with Copics and fussy cut them out. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and cut it out with the speech bubble die and used the stitched slopes die on the green cardstock for my hill. I adhered everything to a kraft card base and added some wink of stella shimmer to the fire!

Thanks for stopping by!
