Today's card is a fun one! I used pattern paper and I even mixed patterns. which is kind of a big deal for me :)
I also finally used an action wobbler (under the hedgehog) and it's so fun!
I'll make the details on this one short as Emma is waking up and wanting to eat (again.) I die cut the tree and hills out of the plaid papers and adhered them to a Rustic Cream card base. I stamped, colored, and fussy cut my animals and leaves with My Favorite Things Black Hybrid Ink on Neenah Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. (I did some masking to layer the animals and leaves) I figured out my placement on everything and then stamped my sentiment before adhering everything down. I cut an action wobbler down as small as I could (SSS was sold out of the small ones when I ordered...) and stuck that under the hedgehog and called it done!
I had a great vacation but I'm also so happy to be home. It's super stressful to corral a toddler in a vacation home (particularly one with stairs) and Emma doesn't eat well with distractions and if our position isn't exactly what she wants, so I had to run downstairs to my room every hour or so sometimes (the joys of cluster feeding...)
Also, I couldn't swim (my midwife said I couldn't swim until 6 weeks after birth) and Bree decided she didn't want to be held in the swimming pool, she wanted to be on her own but she can't swim so that led to some not so fun tantrums. But the house was amazing (seriously, it was an amazing house, I wish my house were as big as at least one of the floors!), the beach was wonderful, everything we ate was fantastic, and it was lovely to spend time with family.
