I'm taking the Wild Card class over at Online Card Classes (the videos help pass the time when Emma is nursing or doesn't want to be put down!) and I've got so many ideas bopping around in my head for fun interactive cards!
I started this cards by stamping all of my images on Neenah cardstock, masking off the animals and the leaf piles, coloring everything with Copic markers, and fussy cutting everything out. I die cut the leafy tree background out of the plaid paper, adhered that to a piece of Rustic Cream card stock and die cut my slider channel out of that. I put foam tape on the back of the panel and used more foam tape to adhere my animals to a penny in the slider track. I adhered the panel to a card base and glued down all of my colored and cut elements. I finished it all off by stamping my sentiment inside my card!
The girls and I survived our first day all alone! (I even did laundry and got Starbucks!) Even though Emma sleeps pretty well at night (down at about 11:00 PM after a few fussy cluster feeding hours, wakes up around 2 to eat, back down around 3, up for the day between 5 and 6...that actually doesn't sound to good when it's written out like that, no wonder I feel like a zombie.) she does not sleep during the day unless I'm holding her, she can be in a super deep sleep but as soon as i put her down her eyes pop open and she's wide awake. (and she hasn't learned how to self soothe at all yet) So I don't get much done during the day... I'll be buying some type of baby wearing wrap tomorrow so hopefully I can get some more done!
