I have a clean and simple Christmas card today using a Lawn Fawn border die and two tiny little stamps!
So this card has a ton of inlaid die cuts and not much else! I started off with two pieces of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Neenah Solar White Cardstock and covered one of the pieces with scor tape. I marked off where I wanted my dies spaced with a pencil and started die cutting the words out of the other piece, adhering the words and the negative sections to my sticky background piece as I went. I die cut the border from Poppy Cardstock for the focal point and colored it with a Wink of Stella shimmer pen before I added it to the card. (I suppose I'll have to cut the tails off of the die cut if it's going to go in the mail, but they're so pretty I wanted to keep them!) To finish the card off I stamped the holly leaves and berries Lawn Fawn Freshly Cut Grass and Lobster ink and stuck the whole thing on a white card base!
Sooooo sleepy. Between staying up late to make cards and clean the house and waking up to feed Emma I've been averaging about 3 1/2 hours of sleep each night. My mama bought me a fancy Keurig machine when she was here last month and man is it getting a lot of use. Jeff and I have never been coffee drinkers but these days I have two cups of coffee every evening to keep going. (I do use quite a bit of flavored creamer so I don't actually have to drink anything that really tastes like coffee. obviously.)
Have a fantastic day!
