Another back to school card :)
I die cut a stitched tag out of neenah cardstock and then stamped the little girl and the sentiment in My Favorite Things Black Hybrid Ink. I colored the little girl and her chalkboard with copic markers and then stamped the A+ in versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut a piece of Elf Green cardstock to 4 x 5 1/2" and stamped the A+ in rows across the bottom in versamark and embossed them with white embossing powder. To mimic a chalkboard I used a makeup sponge to smear some white pigment ink across it to make it look like it'd been erased a few times :)
I adhered the green piece to a white card base, wrapped some baker's twine around my colored tag, and then adhered the tag with foam adhesive to finish it off!
Jeff asked me the other day why I haven't been as chatty here on the blog, I guess I don't feel like I have anything to say right now. I'm currently just trying to survive summer and my toddler and wait for the baby to get here (4 days until my due date!). This last week of pregnancy is brutal, especially with the heat, I don't really remember it being that bad when I was pregnant with Bree. I went to Richmond (a 2 hour drive away) and walked around in the heat at 39 weeks pregnant for maternity pictures during my last pregnancy. That definitely isn't in the cards this time, a 10 minute trip to target makes me feel like I need a nap this time around :)
I'm very ready to be not pregnant and I'm definitely ready for fall and cooler temperatures!
Have a good one!
