This card took a bunch of inks to make, I started off by stamping the girl and coloring her with Copic Markers on Neenah Cardstock. Next, I stamped her on masking paper, cut her out and stuck the mask on top of her to do my ink blending. I used Abandoned Coral, Ripe Persimmon, Carved Pumpkin, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink to blend the background. After the ink blending, but before I took off the mask, I stamped my background with the way to go! sentiment in rows using orange and yellow inks. Then I held my breath to take off the mask, I was a little worried the oranges would have bled through the mask on to the girl, but thankfully she was perfect underneath the mask! I die cut the inked and stamped panel in to a stitched rectangle and stamped the sentiment in Hero Arts black ink and then layered the die cut panel over a dark gray piece of cardstock cut with the same stitched rectangle die at an angle. I stamped the arrow pattern on a white card base and then added my die cut rectangles with some foam adhesive to finish the card off!
I can't wait until my doctor clears me to start exercising again after having the baby. I didn't end up exercising at all this pregnancy since I started out the pregnancy so weak and worn out from getting sick, then the first trimester was so brutal, and then it was summer and miserable outside. I haven't been for a run since December (!) and can't wait to get back on the road. It'll be especially fun to see exercising results while some more weight comes off from breastfeeding since I'll be starting off at a lower weight! The only real problem with all of that is that all of my clothes will be too big for me as soon as I have this baby! I managed to get through the pregnancy wearing my regular skinny jeans, but even with the big belly, they tend to fall down pretty easily, so I'll either have to pick up a new wardrobe pretty quickly after birth, or be stuck wearing my 3 maxi skirts and running shorts for a while :)
Have a great day!
