Hello and happy Monday!
sigh. still no baby.
so here's a card instead!

I've been wanting to turn this little house stamp/die cut into the house from the movie Up since I saw it and I just love how it turned out :)
I die cut the house and stamped it in those awful bright colors (I definitely had to google a picture of the house to see what colors to stamp it...) I also stamped the balloons on Neenah cardstock and colored them with Copics. I fussy cut the balloons out and added glossy accents to them to make them fun and shiny :)
I cut a panel of Aqua Mist cardstock and stamped the balloons on it. I die cut the clouds out of white cardstock and stamped the balloon strings on one of the clouds before adhering them to the Aqua Mist piece. I glued down the balloons and added the house with foam adhesive so it's floating over the clouds. Then I searched through my sentiment stamps like a crazy person looking for some sentiment with the word adventure in it! I stamped the sentiment at the bottom and wrapped some baker's twine around the panel. I adhered that to a white card base with foam adhesive and tucked a die cut border under the left side to finish it off!

My mom gets here today, which means when I go into labor, Jeff can come to the hospital with me since Mom will be here to watch Bree (hooray!)
I spent most of this weekend working on stuff for Bree's birthday party which is less than two weeks from my due date (I figured the only way any of it would get done is if it's all done or planned as much as possible before the baby gets here.) So this weekend we made the invitations, made a menu plan, ordered her birthday presents, I started work on her party shirt, and sketched out the design for the cupcakes and her little cake. It'll be a R2-D2 Star Wars party because she's a huge Star Wars fan :)
I'm giving myself a little grace since I'll have a new baby and I'm taking the easy way out with food and ordering pizza (also because it's one of the few foods Bree will actually eat...) but I am going to make the cake and cupcakes myself. Thankfully my parents will still be here, and Jeff will too of course, so there are plenty of other people to hold the baby long enough for me to get the cake done and decorated!

Anyways, have a fantastic day and I'll be back with another card tomorrow!
