Petite Places Ornaments Day 4: Santa's Workshop

Here's my last Petite Places ornament!
I love Santa's little sleigh and really liked using the wire to make the reindeer "fly"!

And here's the whole gift set! (I made three of these sets! so. much. work.!)

I kept the stamping on the little house a little bit more simple for this one so the sleight and reindeer could really take center stage :)
As with all of the other ornaments, I die cut everything all at one and then stamped then, assembly line style with my MISTI. I assembled the house and adhered it on to a die cut circle that I had already sprayed with adhesive. Before adding my "snow" I adhered Santa and his sleigh with jewelry wire so he and his reindeer and taking off into the sky (definitely my favorite part!) I sprinkled my snow on the circle (an old vase filler from Target) and then stuffed the bottom of the ornament with gift wrap filler and muscled it in to the ornament!

I hope you enjoyed all of these ornaments (and I definitely hope the recipients of these boxes will like them this Christmas!) I'll be back with a card to share tomorrow!

  1. These ornaments are all so beautiful! I can hardly wait to put them on display!

  2. Absolutely beautiful!! I have never made one of the ornaments whole. Just with half and a paper backing. Could you share more information with me?

  3. I am loving these ornaments and can't wait to make. I do have a question how did you put the house inside.

    1. I adhered the house on a cardstock circle and then wrapped a thin strip of double sided tape around the edge of the circle. I used ornaments that open and the tape keeps the circle in place. hope that helps!

Thanks for stopping by! Comments are, as always, much appreciated :)

Have a fabulous day!
