Anchor Card

Hello!

Today's card is super quick and simple, no coloring required!
I started out with a piece of kraft cardstock, cut to 4 x 5 1/4" and stamped my rope pattern along the bottom in white pigment ink. I added the anchors in navy ink and then stamped the sentiment in white and navy ink. I wrapped some baker's twine around it just above the edge of the rope border. My favorite part is the anchor and rope! I stamped the anchor in navy on kraft paper and cut it out. I tied some string through the hole in the anchor and then lightly sketched out where i wanted to glue the string down and then I used matte multi medium to glue it down. So fun! I added the kraft panel to a navy card base and called it done!

Less than one week until my due date!!!
I had some amazing plans to get stuff done yesterday, but Bree was super constipated and miserable and just kind of wanted to sleep leaning on me most of the day, so not much got done. sigh.
This week I'm mostly just hanging out and waiting for the baby to show up, nothing too exciting, I'm working on Bree's birthday party shirts (I make a back up because if I spend all of that time on the shirt, i don't want her to spill something on it in the first two minutes and then not have any pictures of her wearing it on party day... I might be a little obsessive...) and hopefully printing some project life pictures during any free time (ha ha ha).

Have a great day!

supplies:
I suppose the Dockside Stamp Set (by WPlus9) (that the sentiment and big anchor are from) is discontinued because I couldn't find it on the website to link it up.
