Hello and happy March!
I broke out my new watercolors for today's card, so much fun!
I started out with a panel of watercolor paper and painted that in the purple, pink, orange, and yellow and then dried it completely. Next I stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink and embossed it with white Hero Arts embossing powder. (side note: I finally upgraded my ranger heat tool to this one and oh. my. gosh. it makes such a difference. seriously, go buy it if you don't already have it.) next I die cut my butterflies out of the water color panel and then lined up the panel on a gray card base. I lined up my stamps with the negative butterflies and stamped them on the card base with Versamark and embossed them with white embossing powder. I adhered the watercolor panel to the card base and finished the card off with a few pretty sequins. (I'll have another card this week using the leftover butterfly die cuts! waste not want not!)
My daughter is only two and a half and she's already way cooler than me. I'm a little miffed that she can wear hats so much better than I can. She's getting so big!
Anyways, I'll be back tomorrow with my other watercolor butterfly card, have a great day!
