more butterflies

hello and good morning! I've got another butterfly card today using my leftover die cut pieces from yesterday's watercolor card :)

Today's card uses the leftover butterfly die cuts from yesterday's card. I stamped the butterflies on the die cuts with versamark ink and then embossed them with hero arts white embossing powder. I cut a piece of gray cardstock down and stamped the background in soft stone ink. (this is one of my all time favorite background stamps, it's from Papertrey Ink's Background Basics: Tin Types stamp set and it's nice and subtle, easy to line up, and very forgiving even if it's not perfectly lined up!) I stamped and embossed the sentiment and then added the butterflies and sequins to the gray panel. I added that to a Summer Sunrise card base and then used my white gel pen to draw a frame around the gray piece, mimicking the outline of the butterfly wings.

I'll be back tomorrow with a fun card for this week's make it monday challenge, have a great day!
