This is the inspiration picture for this month:
My card is for sure not one of my favorites, but my studio is a disaster overflowing with Christmas fallout, so it's as good as can be expected :)
I die cut the mega mat stack 4 die with smokey shadow cardstock and stamped the sentiment with versamark and embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder. Then I stamped all of the leaves and berries first with white pigment ink, and then on top (but slightly offset) with dye ink, the berries are all in Lawn Fawn Lobster Ink, the holly leaves are Hero Arts Emerald and the other leaves are Lawn Fawn Freshly Cut Grass dye ink. I smeared a little white pigment ink over the die cut with a makeup sponge to make it look like a chalkboard. I added the sparkly enamel dots and then attacked it with a white gel pen to add all of the details and the frame. I mounted it on a red card base stamped with the wood background in lobster ink and then added the baker's twine to finish it off! (the red cardstock is a little torn because it took me a few tries to settle on a design and one of the times i was moving the die cut around the adhesive didn't want to let go of the card base and I was too lazy and sleepy to stamp another base!)
So that's about it for me today, no big birthday plans as we have another Christmas celebration today with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. I'll be back to regular blogging next week. Have a great day!
