Hello! I have a pretty floral fall wedding card for you today. Enjoy!
This was another stamping intensive flowery card! I started with the leafy vine frames and the sentiment and then started adding flowers, keepingeverything very symmetrical. When I was done with all the stamping I die cut the little heart from the center - which was a design accident that I really liked! I originally tried to add some Wink of Stella shimmer to the gray heart in the sentiment but it came out in a really ugly glob and I couldn't pretty it up enough so I decided to cut it out and inlay the canyon clay heart in it's place! I cut around the bottom frame with scissors and mounted the panel on a green card base that I had stamped with the monochrome wood planks. (Seriously - that is one of my favorite stamps for when I need a super subtle background.) I added the glossy accents to the Canyon Clay heart and then decided to stamp the envelope while my glossy accents dried. (I love coordinating envelopes!) A little labor intensive (and I spent way too long staring at the flower options trying to make flower and color decisions...) but I'm pleased with how it turned out. (and maybe a little sad that I have to give it away!)
Here's a closeup of those pretty flowers. It kind of reminds me of Cinderella's coach, but maybe that's just the Disney Kid in me!
I'm coloring along with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge on Instagram (#thedailymarker30day3) and I had so much fun getting my Copics out and going to town on one of my new Stamping Bella stamps yesterday! I'll post the full card here next week. So Much Fun!
See you tomorrow for World Card Making Day!
