Hello and happy World Card Making Day! I have a copic colored Stamping Bella card today that was so. much. fun. to color!
Like I said yesterday, I'm coloring along with the 30 day coloring challenge on Instagram and this poor sick little Bella was my first day of the challenge, now she is happily on a card! I started off by stamping the Bella in black hybrid ink from My Favorite Things on some Neenah cardstock and then used way-to-many-Copic-markers-to-list to color her. It was my first time coloring a big scene like that and my first time coloring a person (not to mention the curly hair - that was a struggle!) so while I can see some room for improvement (practice practice practice) I'm still pretty pleased with how she turned out! To add her to the card I trimmed down the panel she was on and set it aside. I die cut the pretty hearts out of the ripe raspberry cardstock and then cut another white piece the same size as the pink one. I used the Copics that I colored her dress with to make my gradient background for behind the hearts. I added everything to a card base and tied it off with some baker's twine to finish!
I'll be stamping and coloring most of today to celebrate World Card Making Day, If you follow me on Instagram I'll be popping in there to share peeks of what I'm working on and my coloring project for the day! Go forth and make cards - have fun!
