Happy Saturday!

hello! Today's card doesn't have any Copic coloring on it *gasp*!

Lots and lots of die cutting for this card. I stamped the people and trees on the die cuts and assembled all of the dies onto the scene it backer die. I stamped the background (it was the first time I inked that stamp up and I love it! Possibly my new favorite background!) on soft stone cardstock and then added the sentiment in black ink. I traced over the star in the sentiment with an embossing pen and embossed it with that gorgeous silver platinum powder. so pretty. I mounted the gray card front on a navy blue card and tied the twine around the front. I added the nativity scene with foam tape and all done!

So I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday to look for a couple of new Halloween decorations (We added some floating shelves to our kitchen a month or two ago and I don't have any seasonal decorations that really go there yet) and so much Christmas stuff has moved in to the store that the Halloween stuff is pretty much down to one endcap. Yay Christmas and all, but still, annoying. Once everything starts switching over to Christmas in the stores I really want to switch my decorations in my house to Christmas, I'd for sure get sick of it before Christmas got here though so I still have to wait until after Thanksgiving to haul my tree out of my shed - I guess I'll just satisfy my decorating urges with pretty Christmas cards for the next month or so!
Have a good weekend!
