hello! Today I've got a fun little winter card to share!
I started by stamping the little girl with MFT black hybrid ink on Neenah cardstock and coloring her with Copics. I fussy cut her out and added the thread for her to hold on to (I've never lived anywhere with enough snow to really sled, what are those called? reins?) I die cut the snow drift cover up die out of white cardstock and trimmed it down to only cover about two thirds of the card. I stamped the sentiment and the heart on one of the snow drift panels and set those aside to stamp the background. I stamped the snowfall background on berrylicious cardstock with versamark ink and embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder (and YES it does make a difference, I have a tub of older white embossing powder in my drawer (I'm pretty sure it's filigree white embossing powder i bought from Papertrey Ink) and it was nowhere near as vibrant as the Hero Arts powder so I redid the background on another piece of cardstock to get the pretty bright snowfall you see in the picture!) I attached the snow drift outline to the snowy blue cardstock and alternated adhering the snow drift panels with flat and foam adhesive. I glued down the little girl and added the whole thing to a pink card base. ta-da!
I've got a new Papertrey Ink order getting here today so I should be crafting into the wee hours of the night tonight! See you tomorrow!
