I did a bit of masking on this card to turn the little monster stamp into a Halloween stamp so I decided that this would be a perfect starter card for a video!
I stamped my sentiment and the monster, masking off the heart on the monster's box first. Next I stamped the little jack-o-lantern face on the box by masking off the rest of the stamp (the face comes from a lawn fawn stamp of a Halloween treat bag). Then I masked off the whole monster to stamp his trail of slime. After all of the stamping was done I broke out my Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor pens and colored the monster in. I finished him with some clear wink of stella over his body and his slime to make them super shimmery. Here's a close-up of the monster:
After he was all colored I added the baker's twine and stitching to the bottom of the card. I mounted the white panel on a black card base and finished off the card with glossy accents on his eyes.
I need to work on staying in the frame when I make videos, I need to focus the camera better and zoom back out when I'm not doing close-up stuff, and I could definitely have talked a bit more in the second half of my video. Other than those things that I for sure need to work on, do you have any advice?
Thank you so much for visiting and (hopefully) watching my video! See you tomorrow!
