Hi! Happy Saturday!
I have a pretty fall wreath card today using the Autumn Blessings stamp set designed by Clearly Besotted for Simon Says Stamp. I started by stamping the wreath in green on my cream cardstock panel and then I stamped it again and fussy cut it out. Then I stamped a bunch of sunflowers and pinecones, colored the sunflowers details with copic markers, and fussy cut all of them out. I arranged all of the elements on top of the first wreath to get an idea where I wanted everything and where there would be blank spots to stamp some more flowers and pinecones on the bottom layer. I snapped a picture with my phone and then stamped the extra flowers and pinecones on the cream panel wreath. I colored the new flowers and then used matte multi medium to glue everything down. I stamped the sentiment and added the twine bow and pearls. I decided it looked a little naked so I stamped the herringbone background on a kraft card base and then adhered the cream panel to the kraft card to call it done!
Our first day of vacation was so fun! Bree and I woke up early and got to watch the sunrise over the ocean from the living room, then we went out to breakfast (nom) and came back to swim in the heated pool! Bree has lost all (healthy) fear of the water since the last time we were in a pool. If i didn't hold her back she'd just walk right off the edge of the patio into the pool so keeping track of her outside was work. She doesn't really sleep well on vacation either so her nap was about a quarter of the time it usually is so i'm sleepy. :)
Have a good weekend - I'll be back with another card on Monday!
