Hi!
long time no see!
I had a lovely family vacation at the beginning of the month, we went to Disney World for the food and wine festival and the wine and dine half marathon and had a blast!
here's me and my dad with chef mickey before our race!
anyway, it took me a few days to get back in the swing of things but now i'm back in my studio and getting inky! :)
Today's card is for this week's Make it Monday Challenge from Papertrey Ink. This week we're doing some "faux watercoloring" with inks and a waterbrush.
I'm full of warm and fuzzy feelings for fall this week with our leaves starting to change colors and the air getting just a little chillier, so i decided to go with the warm fuzzies for my card :) I stamped all of the leaves with distress ink and went over them with my waterbrush a couple times to soften them up a bit.
Thanks for stopping by! Lemme know what you think!

ReplyDeleteLove the colorful leaves! I am in the south and we are not getting much color yet. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, you did a wonderful job on the watercoloring. I love the fall too, it's my favorite time of year! Glad you had a nice vacation.
ReplyDeleteThe card is lovely! I like the faux watercoloring technique - I'm going to try it on something soon. Fall is my favorite time of year, so I'm a sucker for almost anything with fall leaves and colors - nice job! Glad you're posting again - I enjoy your blog.
ReplyDeleteYour leaves do look so fuzzy, great card. Don't you just love a good technique?
