Hi!
I'm back from my super long cross-country trek and back in my studio :)
I decided this week's make it monday challenge - to stamp with acrylic paint - was the perfect way to dive back in and get inky and messy :)
I had so much fun driving across the country, sightseeing along the way, and making my very first smash book on the road to scrap the trip! (i'll try and take a video of it this week to share!)
when i stamp with paint i like to mix it with a little extra time studio paint (the link's in the supplies) on my craft sheet and brayer it a bit to spread it out, and then just use the paint like a regular ink pad (you do really need the extra time to make this work, otherwise your paint dries out too quickly!) i used that technique for the leaf bases and then i sponged some non-diluted paint onto my stamps to stamp the leaf veins for a tone on tone look :)

let me know what you think!
thanks so much for stopping by!

Love it! The stamping with acrylics is a new technique for me and I love seeing what you did with it here. Such beautiful fall colors didn't hurt either!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love the colors :)
