went with a super girly card today, kind of shabby-chic-ish too :)
this is for this week's make it monday, the challenge was to create a pocket with papertrey ink's edger dies, i only have the doily edger dies, i haven't picked up the other ones yet.
i actually made my pocket first, i knew exactly how i wanted it and it went pretty fast, but then it took me another two hours or so to make a card base i liked for it :)
here's the card:

and here it is without the insert in the pocket, i stamped the inside of the pocket so there would be a pretty pattern showing through when you take the insert out :)

i played with another of my new fresh ink pads for this, the gingham and sentiment are stamped in fresh ink melon pigment ink and i'm still pretty pleased about it :) i mentioned how super awesome their white ink is in my last post, if you're interested, i bought my ink online here.

ink: fresh ink in melon and paper white, and antique linen distress ink
patterned paper: my mind's eye
stamps: vintage labels, background basics: gingham, and birds of a feather
dies: edgers #2 and eyelet lace border
embellishments: rustic button twine, pearls, melon berry felt, martha stewart butterfly punch, linen impression plate, sewing, and corner chomper
