Today's make it monday challenge is near and dear to my heart, i "selectively ink" my stamps all of the time - or cut them apart if i anticipate usually only wanting to ink a certain part. i usually do this with sentiments, mostly wanting them in multiple or single lines when they aren't made that way, i do it with images too though, i have a great chandelier stamp from hero arts from the wish you were here set that has a raven on it, lovely for Halloween, but i don't think it goes for everyday chandelier stamping :) i got kind of tired of wiping it off with a baby wipe every time i inked it up, so i eventually cut the raven off, it's easy enough to line them up if i want to stamp them together, but it's out of my way for everyday use now :)
For today's card i "selectively inked" my sentiment to make it one line and my embossed flower in the background to make it stick up from behind the grass and book.
