Hi! Happy Tuesday!
Today's card is for Lawnscaping Challenge #8 - to use any critters on a card - with all of lawn fawn's adorable critters to choose from the hardest part was picking which one to ink up!
In the end I had to go with the hedgehog
*fun fact - did you know that hedgehogs float in the water? and that they love shiny things? and if you put them in a tub with some water in it and put a few shiny pennies in the bottom of the tub they'll keep trying to bob down to get to the pennies? fun for the whole family. backstory: one of my boyfriends in college had a pet hedgehog (shhh don't tell res life!) in his dorm room and watching his hedgehog play around in water was a great way to not study :)
anyways... i went pretty simple with this card but i love how it turned out - and i'm LOVING Harold's ABCs my new absolute favorite stamp set.
so here's my card:
The sentiment is totally appropriate - i've been pretty anti-social with some of my extended family which has caused some tensions and whatnot and now i have to be a grownup this week and fix everything. (when all i really want to do is stomp my feet and stick my tongue out at people) sigh.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
I'd love it if you could take a minute to leave a comment and let me know what you think!
