Today's Challenge at 365 cards was to be inspired by the movie Pretty in Pink :)
LOVE this movie!!! Pam picked this movie because of John Hughes' recent death. It's nice to know that there are other people in the world who were sad about this! I told my husband John Hughes had died and he said "who?" I of course looked at him like he was an alien, and said "John Hughes? Pretty in Pink? Sixteen Candles? Ferris Bueller's Day Off? The BREAKFAST CLUB!?!?!" nope, my husband hasn't seen those movies, he thinks he watched part of Ferris Bueller once... so I turned to my mom, who also didn't have a clue who John Hughes was...I spent less time alive in the 80s than they did! Where were they?!
anyways, having a TERRIBLE day today so leave a fabulous comment and make me smile :)

clearly Duckie is my favorite part of the movie (isn't he everyone's favorite?!)

I LOVE Duckie!! John Cryer was the best in that movie - funny, quirky and loveable I had a mad crush on him! :D

Great card for the challenge, clever.
ReplyDeleteGreat card and I agree my husband would not have a clue as to who John Hughes was or what any of the brat pack movies were all about.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I was TOTALLY going to do something with a duckie, too!! Great minds think alike! Now I really got step it up but I gotta find something with a duck on it! :) Thanks for the inspiration and hope your day is better.
ReplyDeletePS can't believe your husband doesn't know Ferris Bueller, I thought that was one of those "guy movies". Oh well, I guess everyone doesn't fit the stereotype :) Aloha!

OMGoodness...I have to say the Ferris Bueller's day off has GOT to be a classic! I 'made' my kids watch it...I seriously still chuckled through the movie...when it was done my 14 year old looks at me and basically told me she didn't understand why I thought it was so good...oy vey, sassy teenagers.....anyways...sorry for all that...your card is pure fun my dear!
ReplyDeleteFerris Bueller was just on here yesterday and dh DVRed it for me. I should have looked for a John Huges Fest! Doh! I bet all the movies were on this week. Rats. I missed out I guess. Dh did not know to DVR them all. LOL
